At Constar, we are committed to workplace practices that save energy, reduce emissions and minimise environmental impact. We ensure our staff have the knowledge and skills to assist in helping the environment, by carrying out daily tasks that help reduce greenhouse emmissons.

By adhering to applicable environmental laws, regulations and voluntary codes of practice, we strive to conserve natural resources. This includes giving preference to renewable energy sources over non-renewable energy where feasible.

Throughout our manufacturing and packaging processes, we are proud to partake in environmentally friendly actions such as the use of degradable, low density plastic bags for our product packaging, which will begin breaking down within 1-2 years, once they enter the landfill stage. Our waste raw polymer material is donated to other companies, where it can be recycled into other plasticware items, preventing it from becoming landfill or being incinerated before its time.

Other daily practices included using cardboard cartons with a high inclusion of recycled material, upgrading to machinery that are energy efficient, utilising low energy lighting and appliances and carbon neutral paper for invoicing and general administrative printing purposes. This paper is certified as Greenhouse friendly by the Australian Government, and is produced from managed forests and plantations.
